About the association

One lake. One community. One united voice.

Soo Lake United Association serves the people who care about the long-term health, character, and enjoyment of Soo Lake.

Our history

United to be heard

In 2007, the two lake associations serving Soo Lake voted to merge into one organization. Soo Lake United Association, Inc. was officially incorporated in 2008, reflecting the shared belief that a united voice would better serve the lake and its community.

The organization carries that purpose forward by connecting lake stakeholders, supporting sound management practices, sharing reliable information, and encouraging everyone who uses the lake to act as a responsible steward.
